Consider this journal dead. Seriously, I've hated the name since I was forced to chose it on the fly because LJ.com doesn't give us enough characters to get really creative.

Anyway, my new one is [info]twobagsofgrass. If you want to migrate over there, go ahead and add me or leave a comment and I'll add you back. I won't be offended if you don't add me. I don't play the "if you don't read my journal then you're not my friend" game.

This morning's dream:

The country, or what's left of it, has been over-taken by Tremors. Remember that movie and it's horrible sequels? Anyway, these things are running amuck and tearing the ground up, causing large buildings to collapse and freeways to cave in.

And that's my story.

God dammit.

As fucked up as this day already was, I now have to deal with a fucking Presidential Debate on three damned channels I'd like to be watching right now.

Fuck that, and fuck the fact that the Debate isn't even worth watching because our candidates are world-class morons. And yeah, I think I'm allowed to say that having lived through 6 elections and been told one story by each candidate, then following their election, told quite another by their actions.

Politics. If there wasn't always an ulterior motive, I might actually be inclined to participate. Where's the honor in allowing yourself to be lied to?

Ahh, the season change. Time for beautiful trees, brisk air, coffee walks outside the coffee shops, and for those of us with poor lungs, infections! Woo! I love fall, but I hate the yearly pulmonary distress that comes with it. My chest feels like it's melting.

I've got some things to say:

1. Like it or not, I think pot is great for asthmatics. I'd explain, but I'm fairly positive none of you are interested in hearing why and I really don't feel like arguing with people who have no done their homework.

2. Grooming a new bag while listening to "The Rules Of Attraction" soundtrack is, well, awesome.

3. Willie Nelson will kick your ass.

My mom gave me a DVD player for my room, but I have yet to use it to actually watch a movie. However, I'm browsing the options on this thing, and come to find out it can play MP3 cds. Now, for those of you that don't know, I no longer have a soundcard on this machine to listen to music with, but I have an assload of good music that needs to be listened to. Do I just hook up the DVD player to my stereo and use it as an MP3 player? Or do I leave it where it is in case I want to watch a movie? And you know I'll want to watch one as soon as I move it from the tv.

This weekend went from "blah" to "suck" in 4.7 seconds.

Dull the senses and proceed inward.

Is it just me, or is everyone having a shitty day...?

...in a relative way?

So my boss asked me to go to another fashion show on Sunday. This time in Plymouth. This is a frequent trend in my job that I certainly wouldn't mind.

List an album (not just a song) that you think could be about you.

Do your attention span a favor and hop on over to Pop Cap Games. Get hooked up with Insanaquarium where you feed your fish so they poop gold, which you then use to upgrade your laser to fight aliens while buying pieces of an egg.

How can you go wrong?

Oooooh. I see. Accidentally dropping a piece of chewed gum in your shoe, putting it on, then walking outside to throw some trash away is not a good idea. Now I get it.

Not even gum in my shoe can ruin this awesome weekend.

These things just sort of sneak up on you.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Magz throws a damned good party.

Those of us members of the Yield Guild, protectors of the Island Of Yield, know that it is our destiny to defend that territory with our lives (and our meat, cheese, and bread).

I don't think I can describe the excitement I experienced today when I found my Pokemon game cartridge for Game Boy at my mom's house.

Well, it's official. I have cancelled my Suicide Girls membership due to inactivity on the site. I wasn't really active in the boards and groups anymore, so I just decided it was time to leave. Might go back one day, who knows. But hey, I recommend that you folks get an account. It's a lot of fun...for awhile, at least.

They should make a book of AIM away message collections. When read in succession, they can sometimes be mildly poetic...much like a can of nitrous oxide and multi-colored bathroom tiles.

This new Gmail thing interests me. It seems littered with conveniences, yet I can see this system being exploited by some sinister plot involving information control. I've yet to actually get in the know and use one, but I imagine I'll see the damned thing from the inside soon enough.

I need to decorate the living room. The bleakness is getting to me.

I've decided that I am a big nerd because I own a Dictionary Of Theories.
